About me

 

My name is Carlos Fernando Guzmán Prada, and I live Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.

I am a passionate professional in graphic design and visual communication, with technical training and experience in creating digital and print content. I have developed skills in using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, which allow me to produce high-quality visual materials.

One of my main strengths is photography. I studied at a photography institute and I currently work as a professional photographer. This has helped me develop a good eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling, which I also apply in my graphic design projects.

In terms of work experience, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), where I created graphic pieces for communication campaigns and institutional events. There, I worked on designing brochures, banners, social media content, and other materials that supported the organization’s outreach efforts.

Additionally, I have worked as a freelance designer for local small businesses, helping them build their corporate image through logo design, business cards, flyers, posters, and advertising materials. These experiences have taught me how to understand client needs and deliver creative and effective solutions.

I consider myself proactive, responsible, and committed to meeting deadlines. I enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and I always look for ways to improve and learn new things.
